Trophy Club Municipal Offices close at noon on Wednesday, November 25th and will reopen after the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, November 30, 2015. Normal Friday trash and recycling collections will shift to Saturday, November 28th due to the holiday.

The Trophy Club Women’s Club and the Town have partnered to organize a Veterans Day Observance ceremony on November 11th at 4:15 pm at the Military Veterans Memorial in Trophy Club (501 Parkview). Joined by special guest Congressman Michael Burgess, participants will honor Veterans with a flag presentation, color guard, Veterans poem and more. Everyone is invited to attend as we give thanks and remembrance to those who have sacrificed for our freedoms.

Indy is home from training in Indiana and we are so excited to welcome him to the community! Bring the kids and come meet Indy on Saturday, November 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Independence Park East (Indy’s namesake). Guests can meet Indy and take pictures, observe the badge ceremony and enjoy a live demonstration by Indy and his handler, Officer Barry Sullivan. All participants will receive a free commemorative gift featuring Indy!

The Town’s Finance Department continues to shine in government finance! For the first time, the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) presented the Town with the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting (PAFR) for the 2014 Trophy Club PAFR. The 2014 PAFR was the first time the Town published the document, which is designed to provide stakeholders a succinct, simple explanation of Town finances. On October 13, 2015, the Trophy Club Town Council approved amendments to the Town’s sign regulation ordinance that affects the use of signs/sign placement in Trophy Club.
