The Street Services Department began upgrading street signs this week as part of the annual sign replacement program, as well as to bring older signs up to federal and state transportation code and increase sign visibility for drivers and emergency responders. The new street signs will be placed at intersections along major thoroughfares, including Trophy Club Drive, Indian Creek, Trophy Wood and Trophy Lake Drive. Trophy Club Town Manager Mike Slye has resigned effective Saturday, January 24, 2015. Assistant Town Manager Stephen Seidel will assume the leadership position as Acting Town Manager while the Town Council assesses their options regarding filling the Town Manager position on a permanent basis.

New Crosswalk Enhancements - Rapid Flashing Beacons

On Tuesday, January 13, 2015 the Town Council unanimously approved the purchase and installation of eight (8) rapid flashing beacon systems in order to improve pedestrian safety at crosswalks. Council approved $53,163 for the additional public safety measure, which also includes funding to replace any signs or poles as appropriate. The new crosswalk enhancements will be installed later this year.

Join the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) as a member of the 2015 Spring Citizens Police Academy, which starts on:

Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m.

Classes run for 11 weeks and are every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Public Services Conference Room (100 Municipal Drive).
