The Town of Trophy Club's Standard & Poor's (S&P) AA bond rating was upgraded to AA+, enhancing the Town's credit and financial profile.The improved bond rating speaks volumes about the Town's fiscal policies and practices, management of public monies and strong financial profile. The AA+ rating indicates that an obligor has VERY STRONG capacity to meet its financial commitments.

The Trophy Club Town Council and Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 Board of Directors met Wednesday, March 19, 2014 to finalize the terms of an agreement for a long-term utility contract between the two organizations. The Council and Board of Directors agreed to a 99-year wholesale contract for the District to provide water and wastewater utility services to the Trophy Club Public Improvement District (PID) residents, which represents approximately 1400 households located outside the District boundaries. Pedestrian safety is the primary concern for diverting foot and bicycle traffic to cross Bobcat at Marshall Creek, instead of at Parkview, during the medical office construction project located at Bobcat and Parkview. Please make sure kids know to stay clear of the construction site and understand where they can safely cross Bobcat. The crossing guard stationed at Bobcat and Parkview is directing students to the crosswalk at Bobcat and Marshall Creek. On Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. the Trophy Club Police Department will be accepting expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications from Trophy Club residents’ medicine cabinets. The program is anonymous for participants and all medications collected will be destroyed.

Residents can drop off unwanted medicines at the Trophy Club Police Station, located at 100 Municipal Drive.

Saturday, April 12, 2014 marks the 2nd Annual Live Like Josh 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament! The tournament grew this year and has been moved to the Byron Nelson High School gymnasium. The tournament schedule runs from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and anyone is welcome to play! Registration is available at: http://leaguelineup.com/live_like_josh

From TxDOT --- Ground is breaking on a project to add capacity to SH 121 from a four-lane rural roadway to a 10-lane urban freeway with frontage roads. The project is located in the same neighborhood as the DFW Connector project which is in its last stages and the adjoining FM 2499 widening project just gearing up. The 2.5 mile stretch of roadway cuts through three counties; Dallas, Tarrant and Denton, and borders the cities of Grapevine and Coppell.
