Trophy Club shares a border with hundreds of acres of natural, undeveloped property that is home to a large wildlife population. Many variables, including weather, climate changes, the season, human behavior, etc can cause the wildlife to move into residential neighborhoods seeking shelter, food and water sources. These animals, although sometimes a nuisance, are generally not a danger to humans or pets (and want to avoid people as much as people want to avoid them).

The Town of Trophy Club has planned a Town Hall Meeting for Thursday, August 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Cities Church of Christ. Recently, the Town Council proposed a Strategic Partnership Agreement between the Town, TC MUD 1 and Westlake that laid out a plan to consolidate the TC MUD 1 government with the Town of Trophy Club government and provide for appropriate negotiations with Westlake in regards to Solana. July 27, 2013 --- UPDATE:  The Denton County Health Department (DCHD) has confirmed the first human case of West Nile virus for 2013 in the county. The patient is in his 40s, resides in the City of Denton, and has West Nile fever (the milder form of the illness). For patient confidentiality reasons, no further personal information will be released.

On June 24, 2013, the Town Council took Executive Action to form a Blue Ribbon Panel comprised of 12 TC MUD 1 and Public Improvement District (PID) residents.The Panel will be charged with investigating the optimal solution to the future TC MUD 1 and Town government structure by:

  • examining the current government structure in Trophy Club,
  • researching best practices for municipal government and
  • providing a recommendation to the Council regarding a local government consolidation.

Have you seen this man?

On Wednesday, July 10th, 2013 at approximately 2:42 p.m. Trophy Club Police Officers were dispatched to the DATCU Credit Union located inside the Tom Thumb grocery store at 101 Trophy Lake Dr., Trophy Club, for a robbery that had just occurred. Officers were advised the suspect had already fled the scene. The suspect was described as a white male, late 40’s to early 50’s with a salt and pepper mustache.
