It’s always fun when we get to brag on one of our residents who is out in the world doing great things!

Jacqui Roberts was raised in Trophy Club and graduated from Byron Nelson HS in 2012. She first learned how to ride a bike in Harmony Park, and now she is biking over 4,500 miles this summer from Austin, TX to Anchorage, AK with an organization called Texas 4000!

She is one of 75 students that will be completing the 70-day ride to Alaska starting on June 3, 2017. Formed in 2004, Texas 4000 is the largest annual student-led charity bike ride in the world. Her personal goal is to fundraise $10,000 for cancer research and to honor those who have suffered from cancer.

Jacqui wants to hear more stories from her hometown and dedicate her ride to them. You can contact her at jacquibikestoalaska@gmail.com or visit her webpage at tinyurl.com/jacquibikes.
