We are very pleased to announce that Captain Shane Beck has received his National EMS Management Association (NEMSMA) Supervising Officer certification from the Emergency Medical Services Officer Credentialing Commission. This was a six month process with a lot of hard work and Captain Beck is now one of only twenty in the Country to have obtained this certification. Way to go, Shane!This is a first of its kind National Certification for Emergency Medical Services Supervisors. EMS as an industry has not previously identified a clear set of objectives for a career path of EMS Supervisors and/or Managers. The competencies for the certification included Educational, Job Performance, Human Resources Management, Community and Government Relations, Administration Principals, Emergency Services Delivery, Health and Safety, Quality Management and Logistics.
