Cancelled - Santa and Mayor Flying in from North Pole for Christmas in the Park

Due to inclement weather, Christmas in the Park has been cancelled. Christmas in the Park will not be rescheduled due to scheduling conflicts with vendors and the NISD choirs. We apologize for the inconvenience. Resident safety and providing a quality event is very important to us; with inclement weather still in the forecast, we along with the choirs felt it was best to cancel at this time.

 

Mayor Sanders is heading to the North Pole to bring back Santa for Christmas in the Park via helicopter. Santa said in his official letter that he wanted to specifically visit Trophy Club because he had many kids on his “nice list “ this year. Check out his official letter. Santa Letter

 

Christmas in the Park kicks-off on December 3rd at Indy East Park at 6:30 pm. There are a ton of fun activities planned that include Christmas carols, crafts, and free treats. Santa has also promised to drop bags of candy before his helicopter lands at the park. Christmas in the Park will replace the Christmas Celebration event that was previously held at the clock tower. Below is a tentative schedule of the event.

6:30 - Christmas carols sung by Beck and Lakeview Elementary choirs

6:50(approx) - Santa and Mayor Sanders arrive via helicopter

7:20 (approx) - Reading of the Night Before Christmas by Mayor Nick Sanders

7:35 (approx) - Free treats provided by Fellowship United Methodist Church, Bara Church, Trophy Lakes Church, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Alliance Stake Center.

7:35 (approx) - Free craft hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Alliance Stake Center.
