It is with regret that the Mayor & Town Council report that Town Manager Stephen Seidel tendered his resignation to the Mayor, Town Council and staff on Thursday, August 18th.  It was reluctantly accepted, not only because of the work Stephen has accomplished, but also because of the trust and working relationship he has with Council.  Stephen has worked for the Town for the past 9 years helping Trophy Club grow from approximately 6,000 citizens to over 13,000 citizens. His fingerprints are on everything from our parks system, to Meat U Anywhere BBQ to the new Town Hall.  As Stephen said in his resignation letter, "Trophy Club does community and neighborhoods better than anyone else. We are a little slice of heaven 10 minutes from the world's 3rd busiest airport."  I think we can all agree on that view of our Town.

We are saddened that we will lose him as our Town Manager, but understand and support the amazing opportunity presented to him.   His resignation will be effective October 2, 2016.

Stephen has provided leadership to an excellent Town Staff and leaves us in sound shape financially.  We wish him well in his professional and personal future.
