TC pet owners, do we have a treat for you! There is a veterinarian coming to town in the near future. Trophy Club Animal Hospital will be located on the corner of Bobcat/Parkview. It’s an empty lot right now. But, soon it will be home to your local TC vet! The permit was issued on July 18, 2016 and construction is imminent. Meet Dr. Speed at PetFest on September 17th!
Here is an article submitted by the Trophy Club Animal Hospital marketing team to introduce Dr. Speed and her clinic:
Trophy Club Animal Hospital will be the first all-inclusive small animal practice in Trophy Club. They are excited to provide access to excellent medical care, customizable boarding programs and thorough client education programs in our community. Trophy Club Animal Hospitals focus will be on preventative medicine; however, are exceptionally prepared to treat emergency situations such as trauma, toxicities and acute crises (e. g. diabetic crisis). They are extraordinarily qualified to help you and your pet navigate the unpredictable road of chronic illnesses such as arthritis, kidney disease and heart disease. There will also be times where a pet owner knows something is wrong but can’t give an explanation for their pet’s behavior. Trophy Club Animal Hospital can help on those cases as well. Trophy Club Animal Hospital will have comprehensive on-site diagnostic capabilities in addition to highly experienced staff to diagnose those obscure illnesses.
Trophy Club Animal Hospital will include a safe, comfortable boarding facility, doggie daycare, grooming boutique, and a small pet toys/supplies shop. Initially Trophy Club Animal Hospital will employ a single veterinarian, Dr. Rachel Speed Webster. Dr. Speed has over 18 years’ experience working in both day practices and emergency hospitals. She has worked at the Animal Emergency Hospital and Specialty Center in Grapevine, TX for the past 9 years, as well as, assisted on a part time/relief basis at general practices in our local areas. It is important to Dr. Speed and her staff to cultivate genuine relationships with people and their beloved pets within the community.
Dr. Speed earned her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. In order to stay educated on various topics in the veterinary community she is involved in multiple professional associations including: Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. In addition to active participation in professional organizations, Dr. Speed and her staff attend multiple lectures from renowned veterinary professionals throughout the year. Trophy Club Animal Hospital takes pride in its ability to provide the highest quality veterinary care DFW has to offer while incorporating the luxurious feel of a pet friendly spa. It is highly important to them that you and your pet feel safe and comfortable at Trophy Club Animal Hospital. They are so very excited about taking great care of your fur babies and look forward to serving our community.
