Update (October 1, 2015) --- The Town Council adopted the FY15-16 Town Budget on September 22, 2015. The formal budget is currently under development, but the approved budget is available for review. The FY15-16 budget is based on a $0.484/$100 valuation tax rate, which is a $0.006 reduction over last years tax rate.
The Town Manager’s Office and Finance Department presented the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 (FY15-16) Proposed Budget to Town Council on July 31, 2015 in accordance with the Town Charter. The proposed budget represents a road map for goals and objectives that Town Staff have developed for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins on October 1, 2015 and ends September 30, 2016.
This year Staff developed a movie for the Trophy Club Town Council, Citizens, Property Owners and Stakeholders that outlines the proposed budget highlights and departmental goals. The video also includes current fiscal year accomplishments, which helps set benchmarks for the organization and captures a historical timeline for the community.
