Famed Dallas eatery and bar, Bread Winners Café and Bakery & The Quarter Bar, is opening a new location in Trophy Club next year! Owners Jim and Cindy Hughes have signed the lease on a property located on SH 114 frontage road in the Trophy Wood District, an up-and-coming suburban destination featuring distinctive dining, overnight accommodations, and development plans for future shopping, a Town Hall/Police facility and public amenities. On Saturday, July 18th the Trophy Club Police Explorers traveled to Rosenberg, Texas for their fist Explorer Competition since the post was re-established by Police Chief Patrick Arata last year. Trophy Club Explorers competed against 57 teams from across the state, which included posts from the US Border Patrol, Houston PD, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Mesquite PD and others.Trophy Club Explorers took Second Place in Active Shooter and First Place in DWI!

Rose rosette disease (RRD) has infiltrated North Texas and many Trophy Club rose bushes have been affected. Several medians in Town contain knock out roses that must be removed as a result of the disease. Due to the aggressive nature of RRD, infected rose bushes should be removed and destroyed in order to help eliminate further spreading.
