Update (July 3, 2015) — Tucker and Hogan have been adopted by a Trophy Club family who will give them the love they deserve. Thank you to everyone who shared their story and helped find their forever home!
Tucker and Hogan, a pair of senior dogs who recently lost their human parent, need our help finding new homes. The dogs came to the TCPD Animal Shelter on Tuesday, June 23 and have no family able to care for them anymore. Please help us find a home for these Trophy Club dogs.
Both dogs are fixed males with loving demeanors and friendly personalities. Tucker is a 9-year-old Golden Retriever and Hogan is an 8-year-old lab-mix. They are potty trained, well-behaved, indoor dogs who have been together for many years and we are hoping someone can adopt them together.
The animals are in need of a vet visit and grooming, so a resident animal advocate created a FundRazr account to collect monies and help pay for the dogs to get the care they deserve. Please consider contributing and help Tucker and Hogan on their way to finding a good home.
The shelter has a 72-hour hold on dogs so that owners can claim the animal, and after that the dogs are available for adoption. The Town and TCPD are providing additional time in the shelter in order for the community to organize and help us find these two boys a new home.
The dogs will remain in our care until Thursday, July 2nd, at which time they will be transferred to another shelter.
To visit the dogs or for questions, please contact Animal Control Officer Kelly Akin at 682-831-4621. Thank you for spreading the word about Tucker and Hogan needing a good home and helping to get them in a loving environment!
