The Town of Trophy Club offers many events, programs and educational classes throughout the year. Thank you to partner organizations who assist with several programs and classes, including Keep Trophy Club Wild and the Trophy Club Women’s Club.

Eggstravaganza

Load up the kiddos and the Easter baskets for a fun family event! There will be separate areas for each age group: ages baby to 3, 4 to 5, 6 to 7, and 8 to 10. The event is divided in two waves: baby to 7 years first, and then 8 to 10 years old. Please arrive early enough to get situated and be sure to bring your camera!

Getting to Know Bats

Dallas Arboretum
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is listed as one of the 10 most beautiful gardens in America and ranked among the most breathtaking gardens in the world. We will have lunch at The Porch after our visit to the garden. The bus will depart from the Trophy Club Fellowship United Methodist Church parking lot. Registration is $45 before 3/20 and $50 after. The fee includes bus transportation and admission; lunch is not included in the cost of the trip.

Create a Rain Barrel Class

Are you tired of that expensive water bill? Save for a rainy day and learn how to create a rain barrel. In this class you will learn how to divert, save, and use rain water! The program teaches you the basics and benefits of rainwater harvesting and the effects storm water has on the environment. Participants will learn how to collect and utilize rainwater at home. You will also have the opportunity to construct your very own 55 gallon rain barrel. Space is limited. Class will be held at the Trophy Club Fire Station. Register at www.tcparks.org. Price:$50

Bees & Pollination Class

Bee pollinators are essential to our environment. Pollinators are essential for two-thirds of the world’s crop species. Participants will learn about the biology of bees and conservation practices to conserve pollinators. The class will be held at Trophy Club Park. Register at tcparks.org

College Diagnostic Testing Class

You will get to see billions of dollars being printed from an enclosed walkway, which is suspended above the production floor. There are also floors of interactive exhibits and displays showcasing currency history and the intricate art of currency manufacturing. The tour includes a high-definition theater film, and the Moneyfactory, Gift Shop. We will have lunch at Olive Garden after our tour. The bus will depart from the Trophy Club Fellowship United Methodist Church parking lot. Cost $45-The fee includes bus transportation and admission; lunch is not included in the cost of the trip. Did you know the average U.S. household generates 650 lbs of compostable materials each year? Participants will learn how to reduce waste carried to landfills by composting and not throwing “it” away in the trash. Astronomy 101 Class
Every Sunday from October 25 through November 15

Enjoy a fun, laid back experience in an Introduction to Astronomy class where participants will learn about the solar system, galaxy, and more! Sessions will be held in a classroom setting and outdoor environment. A planisphere and flashlight will be included with registration.

Cost: $45 per cookie kit. Lite refreshments. One gingerbread cookie kit has 1 large cookie. The kit contains everything you need to decorate your gingerbread cookie. Bring additional decorations if you would like to make your cookies unique.
