Trophy Club celebrated 30 and 40 year-anniversaries at the Founder’s Day Reception, which was held at the Trophy Club Country Club on Saturday, January 17th. Approximately 240 guests enjoyed historical vignettes, food, drinks, visiting with neighbors and a ceremony with several dignitaries. Dignitaries included numerous current and past Mayors, Town Council Members and TC MUD 1 Directors, Denton County Commissioner Andy Eads, State Representative Tan Parker, NWISD Superintendent Karen Rue, Detroit Tigers outfielder Tyler Collins and Trophy Club Country Club General Manager Erik Keyser. The Trophy Club Country Club and Trophy Club Utility District No. 1 (TC MUD 1) celebrated 40 years and the Town of Trophy Club celebrated 30 years of incorporation.
“The Founder’s Day event exceeded the Committee’s expectations and feedback from attendees has been extremely positive. From our sponsors, to the history vignettes and art submissions, the music provided by our Medlin and Byron Orchestras, our special guest, Tyler Collins, and the food & atmosphere of the Club, it was a perfect evening. We want to remind everyone that this is the first of several events we have planned this year so if you missed this one, you will have an opportunity to attend others. Like our Facebook page so you can see what’s coming up next!”
