The Town of Trophy Club is celebrating 30 years of incorporation January 19, 2015. To celebrate the milestone, the Town appointed citizens to an anniversary committee, which has been working hard to create events for the community to celebrate the Town’s birthday throughout the year. The committee has planned large and small events throughout the year and everyone is welcome!

To kick the year off right, the committee is holding an art contest to get the youth involved. Any student in grades 4th — 12th attending one of the Trophy Club schools, a private school in town or a homeschooled student, is eligible. Students are asked to submit entries depicting a special place, location or original drawing that represents what Trophy Club means to them.

Artwork submission deadline: Friday, January 9, 2015

Four winners of the contest will have their work reproduced into commemorative notecards that will be available for purchase. Additionally, the top two winners will have their artwork framed and auctioned at one of the birthday celebration events. Winners will be announced at the Founder’s Day event, which will be held Saturday, January 17, 2014.

A website and Facebook page (@CelebrateTrophyClub) have been created to keep residents up to date on the year-long celebration activities. You will find information about future events, as well as blogs and information about the history of the Town. Residents can submit their own blog entries and photos to be included on our pages.
