The Dallas Builder’s Association (DBA) recently awarded The Highlands at Trophy Club with the coveted 2014 Master-planned Community of the Year honor. The award, presented by the Sales and Marketing Council (McSAM), included residential developments from the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex that were narrowed down to a final list of the top 5 communities that were subsequently fully evaluated.

Judging was based on a number of criterion, from best community presentation, planning, and amenities offered by a developer, to best overall marketing, design, and sensitivity to natural or creative environments. Design appeal, creative use of space and materials, architectural continuity and landscape design were all additional factors that went into the determination. The judging panel consisted of individuals from across the nation who are at the top of the home building industry field and represent the many disciplines contributing to new home sales and marketing, as well as geographic diversity.

The Highlands stood out among the rest due to the thoughtful attention to detail within the neighborhood, the big picture thinking by the developer, Centurion American Development Group, and the outstanding execution by the development team.
