The rehabilitation of Indian Creek from Edgemere Drive to Meadowbrook Lane will begin on Monday, June 16 and the project is expected to be completed by June 26, 2015. The project has been on the Capital Improvement Plan for six years and on Monday, April 21 the Town Council awarded the construction contract to the low bidder, The Fain Group, Inc. The rehab project includes paving, drainage, water and median improvements, as well as the addition of sidewalks on the east side of Indian Creek. The total bid awarded by the Town Council is $1,545,854.80. On April 22, 2014 the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 (TC MUD) Board of Directors awarded the low bid for the water line rehabilitation portion of the project to The Fain Group, Inc. in the amount of $275,339. The total (Town & TC MUD) contract amount awarded is $1,821,193.80.

All streets will remain open to traffic during construction, and  two-way traffic will be routed on one side of Indian Creek while the other side is under repair.  If a lane closure is required, flagmen will direct traffic appropriately.  The contractor will construct improvements in two phases, starting with the east and north half of the roadway and associated utilities. The first phase is scheduled to begin in June 2014 and be completed in December 2014. The second phase consists of work on the west and south half of the roadway and associated utilities, which is scheduled to begin December 2014 and be completed in June 2015.

A neighborhood meeting was held on Wednesday, May 28 to provide a project overview and answer questions from the residents directly affected by the construction project.
