The Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) is going live with an official Facebook page on May 15, which marks TCPD's first official foray into the social media world. If you haven't done so already, go "like"

The TCPD Facebook page will not be monitored 24 hours a day and should not be used to report crimes, criminal or suspicious activity. Those issues should be reported to Denton County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch via 911 or the non-emergency number: 972-434-5500.

The page will regularly provide valuable information for the community, including:

  • department information
  • community programs (Crime Watch neighborhoods, Citizens Police Academy and Concealed Handgun License classes)
  • criminal activity in town as well as the surrounding areas
  • crime statistics and trends
  • tips on how to keep you and your family safe

The page can be used to compliment TCPD officers. If you personally experienced something positive one or more of the officers did, or you witnessed something positive, please feel free to post it on our page. Any compliments will be provided to the officer and a copy will go to HR for inclusion into that officer’s personnel file.

Complaints will not be accepted on the page. There is a complaint process that insures the proper level of confidentiality and investigative integrity, which cannot be guaranteed on Facebook. Information on this process can be found at http://www.trophyclub.org/departments/police/about.html#professional-standards.

Feel free to share any information and photos you find useful or may like from our page, and suggest our page to others. Thank you for "liking" TCPD on Facebook!
