The Town of Trophy Club has opened public submissions for the logo project in order to give community members the opportunity to design a logo for the Town. By submitting a logo, the artist accepts and agrees to comply with the guidelines below and transfers ownership rights of any mark submitted to the Town.
Anyone is welcome to submit a logo design. Participants 18 or younger must have a parent or legal guardian's permission as indicated by the appropriate signature in the consent block (Parent/Guardian Signature) on the Entry Form.

- Participants may submit up to two logo designs and must complete a separate Entry Form for each concept submitted.
- Design your logo(s)! Make sure to follow all guidelines for submission.
- Participants are encouraged to provide a brief written explanation/description of their logo design.
- Sign and email completed Entry Form and logo design(s) to firstname.lastname@example.org
Logo entry deadline: Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Midnight
Your logo design should be dynamic, creative, unique, simple, memorable and differentiated from others in the municipal logo “market”. The logo must adapt well to electronic and print media, to reproduction on small and large surfaces, and to use in color, grayscale and black/white. The logo should have a Patriotic feel and may incorporate other imagery. Use `Town of Trophy Club' as the identifying text.
Note: The Clock Tower is not owned by the Town and is located on private property. Additionally, if the property where the Clock Tower sits is developed, then the Clock Tower can be removed and another Clock Tower of the same height and scale may be erected. In other words, in a couple years the Clock Tower may not look like it does today.
All submitted designs and source images must be the original work of the artist. No third-party artwork or images, including clipart, or copyrighted graphics may be used. Artwork that has been previously published or exhibited is not permitted.
For purposes of submission, the preferred file formats are vector (eps) files. Acceptable formats also include .png, .jpeg, .tiff or .psd. The logo must be a minimum of 2" wide or 2" high (whichever is the larger proportion) at 300 dpi. If the logo incorporates non-standard fonts, please provide the font should your logo be selected.
Two forms of the logo(s) must be submitted:
- Full color version (4-color CMYK)
- Black and white version (100% black, no gray)
All entry designs will be screened and those that comply with the guidelines and specifications will be placed on Trophy Club TC Exchange for community feedback. The results will be presented to the Town Council for a final decision. By submitting an entry, the artist agrees that the Town of Trophy Club will become the rightful owner of the image and any likeness of the image, and may alter and reproduce the image at its discretion. Depending on the logo selected, the Town retains the right to “polish” the logo as necessary.
