It’s that time again for the Trophy Club Parks & Recreation bi-annual Family Campout!
Trophy Club Park (TCP) - 2885 Trophy Park Drive
Saturday, October 26 to Sunday, October 27
Setup (check-in) from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at entrance to TCP
Dinner around 5:30 p.m. (time varies)
Live Wildlife Show at 7:00 p.m.
Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning
This year we have a full line up of things to do with your family at the campout. Dinner will begin with a home cooked meal from the Lone Star Dutch Oven Society. Food will be cooked in cast iron Dutch ovens; a favorite family campout tradition. After dinner, Wildlife on the Move will host a live reptile demonstration. Experts will bring animals for the demonstration and teach campers about native reptiles found in the area. Throughout the evening, campers will enjoy listening to Yancey Stevens, the singing cowboy.
Online registration for the Family Campout is now open! The cost is $6 per person and includes everything listed above. Registration ends October 24th.
Check-in for the campout begins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26th. Campers are welcome to arrive early to pick a good spot and set up camp. Everyone who paid needs to check-in at the front gate. Once checked in, campers will receive a wrist band. The wrist band is good for dinner and breakfast.
