A message from the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 (TC MUD 1):

The Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 (TC MUD 1) appreciates your cooperation in conserving water during the intake shutoff today.  Thanks to your efforts, all four storage tanks were full when the work began this morning and reserves have declined only slightly since.  In order to increase the amount of water we can take in from our main supplier, the City of Fort Worth, contractors have successfully installed a new valve.  This valve allows a higher rate of intake and reduces the amount of time it takes to refill the storage tanks.

During the next phase of the project a bypass will be installed to ensure emergency operations for the future.  In the next few weeks there will be one additional water intake shutdown, but customers will be notified well in advance.  This project is moving ahead of schedule and under budget, and allows the District to continue to provide clean, safe water to all our customers at one of the most economical rates in the region.
