The Trophy Club Fire Department routinely attends continuing education training in order to maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to any particular emergency. Communicating and working with air medical transportation in the event a patient needs rapid transport to a hospital requires specialized training and coordination with other agencies.
Next week, the Trophy Club Fire Department will be hosting its annual “Landing Zone” training with PHI Air Medical. PHI is a major air ambulance provider across the country, providing air medical services and outreach education to local communities and leading healthcare systems. The Trophy Club Fire Department will be conducting this training in the undeveloped property near the Clock Tower (SH 114 at Trophy Club Drive) at 9:00 a.m. on:
- Monday, July 29
- Tuesday, July 30
- Wednesday, July 31
Training will include situational awareness, decision-making exercises and team building. The Roanoke and Westlake Fire Departments are participating in the training, as well. Please don’t be alarmed as this will only be a training exercise.
