Bank Robbery at DATCU in Tom Thumb - July 10, 2013

On Wednesday, July 10th, 2013 at approximately 2:42 p.m. Trophy Club Police Officers were dispatched to the DATCU Credit Union located inside the Tom Thumb grocery store at 101 Trophy Lake Dr., Trophy Club, for a robbery that had just occurred. Officers were advised the suspect had already fled the scene. The suspect was described as a white male, late 40’s to early 50’s with a salt and pepper mustache. The suspect is between 5’ 8” and 5’ 9” tall and weighs between 170 and 180 pounds. The suspect was wearing a white ball cap, sunglasses, and light blue demin long sleeve shirt and light blue pants. During the robbery, the suspect displayed a note demanding money. No weapon was displayed and the suspect gave no indication he had a weapon. The suspect left the Credit Union with approx $4000.00 and was last seen leaving Tom Thumb on foot in an Easterly direction. The FBI is assisting with the investigation.
