Instructions:
1.) You will need to have the Java runtime client
installed on your computer. If you have the Microsoft Virtual
Machine, or Sun JRE/JDK installed, just skip down to step
2. If you don't have any Java runtime client installed, you
can download it from Sun.
If you are not sure if you have it, go to step 2. If the pages
load, then you have it installed. If not, then you need to
install it from Sun.
2.)
Once the Java runtime client is installed, you may go to
3.)
ViewONE is supplied with a digital certificate
that will be displayed on first use. Digital certificates
are required by all applets that use local disks and offer
printing options. This is a requirement specified by Sun's
Java standards.
Using
viewONE with Internet Explorer
If
the Applet is run using Microsoft Explorer then you will be
provided with an opportunity to accept this certificate when
the Applet is started. You need to make sure you click the
"always trust" box so that it does not prompt you again, then
click on the "yes" button...

Using
viewONE with Netscape
If
the Applet is run using Netscape then you will be provided
with an opportunity to accept this certificate when the Applet
is started. You need to make sure you tick the "remember this
decision" box so that it does not prompt you again, then click
on the "grant" button...

Additionally,
with Netscape, you will be prompted when you first try to
print. Click the same box and click on "grant" again.
4.)
Once you accept the Java digital certificate, the screen will
take a few seconds to download and run the Java applet. You
will use the menu system on the right side of your screen
to navigate, and once you pick a record to view, it will load
in the right side of the screen.
Once
you accept the Java digital certificate necessary to view
the tiff files, you can bookmark the page
and get to the site without seeing this screen again.

AOL USERS **
The
record files do not display properly within the AOL browser.
Until AOL resolves the problem, you may view the files by
reducing the AOL client and opening http://records.ci.trophyclub.tx.us/
in alternate browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape.
In order to encourage AOL to address this issue in a timely
manner, please call AOL support at 800-827-6364 and request
a Host Problem Report. The more users that report the problem,
the faster AOL will address it. Thank you for your understanding.
