The Town Council is seeking residents that are willing to spend a few hours a month to serve their community.

Each year, the Town Council announces term expirations in June, accepts applications in July and each board interviews the applicants in August. The Town Council appoints candidates at a September meeting.

Applications will be accepted in July for annual appointments to: Economic Development Corporation A, Economic Development Corporation B, Parks and Recreation, Keep Trophy Club Beautiful Sub-Committee, Planning and Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment.

A Board/Commission Application* can be downloaded, obtained at the Municipal Utility District Building located at 100 Municipal Drive, emailed, faxed or mailed to you. If you are applying for the Planning and Zoning Commission, please fill out this additional form. Applications can also be picked up at the Svore Municipal Building located at 100 Municipal Drive, emailed, faxed or mailed to you.

The deadline for submission is 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011.

The Town will also receive applications for candidates requesting nomination to the Denton Central Appraisal District Board of Directors and the Appraisal Review Board and the Tarrant Appraisal District Board of Directors and the Appraisal Review Board.

The Town Council will submit nominations to the Appraisal Review Boards in August 2011 and to the Board of Directors in November 2011. Please submit a paper copy of the document with your signature to Shannon DePrater or it can be delivered in person, or mailed to 100 Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, TX 76262.
