The Town of Trophy Club is accepting applications/resumes for the following opening:

Aquatics/Outdoor Supervisor
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Aquatics/Outdoor Supervisor will oversee the Community Pool Complex that consists of a family pool, a lap pool and a spray park, the programming of those facilities and swim team management as well as the management of Trophy Club Park and all outdoor programming associated with this park.

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in recreation, physical education or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience working with aquatics programs, and/or aquatics facilities of which one (1) year of experience must have been in a lead or supervisory capacity
  • Computer/Microsoft Word/Excel/ Power Point software experience
  • Valid Motor Vehicle Class C Operator's License
  • Must currently carry or be able to obtain the following American Red Cross certifications: 1) First Aid 2) CPR for the Professional Rescuer 3) Lifeguard Training Instructor 4) Water Safety Instructor
  • Must currently carry or be able to obtain the following: Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification(s)
  • Understanding of general pool maintenance

Annual Salary: $39,968 - $57,953 DOQ and an excellent benefits package

Firefighter/Paramedic
Job Summary: Under the direction of a Fire Lieutenant, protect life and property through fire suppression and fire prevention activities; provide advanced life support care and transportation of the sick and injured. Maintain fire apparatus and equipment.

Minimum requirements:
  • High School Graduation or GED
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Basic Certification from the State Commission on Fire Protection Personnel Standards and Education
  • Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician by the Texas Department of Health
  • Paramedic Certification by the Texas Department of Health or obtained within three (3) months of hire
  • Hazardous Materials Technician and Inspector Basic certification desired or ability to obtain
  • Valid Texas Motor Vehicle Class B Operator's License
  • Certification of completion for physical agility testing from TCCD, no more than six (6) months old

All certifications must be current and submitted at time of application for employment to be considered.

Starting Salary: $42,407 and an excellent benefits package
