TCMUD NO. 1 SPECIAL ELECTION
Trophy Club MUD 1 will be having a Special Measure Election to vote for or against approval of an Amended Fire Protection Plan. This Amended Plan will include fire suppression, fire prevention, training, safety education, maintenance, communications, medical emergency services, photograph and administration.

The current plan, which has been in place since the 1980’s, was in need of an update and the MUD 1 Board wished to include “medical emergency services,” Therefore, the MUD 1 Board submitted an updated Fire Plan to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and received TCEQ’s approval on January 12, 2011.

The Town will hold a General/Special Election on May 14, 2011 for the following:

Town Council:
Mayor, three year term
Place 1, three year term
Place 2, three year term

FOR OR AGAINST: The legal sale of all alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption only.

NEED TO REGISTER OR CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS?
The deadline to register to vote is Thursday, April 14, 2011. Registration cards are available in the kiosk (located in the front foyer) of the Svore Municipal Utility Building located at 100 Municipal Drive or you may visit the Secretary of State's web page to download an application.

If you need to change address, verify voter registration or if you have misplaced or lost your card, please contact your County Election Administrator:

TO VOTE BY MAIL
Application may be mailed, faxed or delivered by the voter in person. Delivery by agent is applicable only on the ground of confinement in jail.

Acceptance of the applications is based on the date received by the office NOT by the post mark date. Applications received before or after the time period listed, will be rejected.

Please contact your County Election Administrator to obtain Ballots by Mail.

Important Dates Concerning Voting by Mail

Friday, April 29 - 5:00 p.m. Last day to receive application from voter in person for a ballot to be voted by mail.
Friday, May 6 - 5:00 p.m. Last day to receive application by mail for a ballot to be voted by mail.
