The Trophy Club Explorer Post is sponsored and sanctioned by the Trophy Department of Public Safety and The Boy Scouts Of America. The post was formed with just a few members in 2001. Its purpose being to give the youth of the Town of Trophy Club and the surrounding areas the opportunity to get a hands-on look at what the career field of law enforcement is like while serving the community and learning the core values the noble profession of Law Enforcement should live by.

Various avenues have given the explorers the ability to learn about police procedures, train in situations that police officers encounter, ride patrol with officers, receive hands-on training from officers, observe actual police day-to-day operations, and compete against other Explorer Posts. Throughout the years the post has grown in size. The explorers dedicate many hours working to learn about law enforcement and giving back to our community. Since its formation, Post #953 has worked nonstop hosting events, competitions, and projects that have made us a recognizable presence in the North Texas area. The post has competed in two state competitions against the other posts in the state.
