377 Intersection Improvements
The Hwy 377 Intersection Improvements are complete and the Intersection
was opened on Monday, May 10, 2010.
This project, like Bobcat Boulevard, was funded by The Town
of Trophy Club, The City of Roanoke, NWISD, Denton County and
Centurion American. While this project lies entirely in Roanoke,
The Town of Trophy Club will handle the administration and inspection
duties.
Safe Routes to School
Recently, the Town of Trophy Club was awarded a grant for
the Safe Routes to School program by TxDOT. The approximately
$400,000 grant will allow the installation of 3300 square
yards of 4 foot sidewalks (1.41 miles), 39 curb ramps, 770
square yards of driveways, new crosswalks, as well as all
irrigation repair and sod replacement, as required.
The
sidewalks will be placed on Trophy Club Drive, Village Trail,
Marshall Creek and Durango.
Sealed
bids were opened on Monday, June 7, 2010 and an apparent low
bidder was recognized. We are awaiting concurrence of recommendation
from TxDOT before Town Council can award the bid.
