The Building Inspections Department conducts inspections on commercial and residential construction.

Scheduling an Inspection
To schedule an inspection, call the automated inspection line at 682-831-4697, leave the permit number, address, and type of inspection. Requests made by 3:00 p.m. will be scheduled for inspection the following business day. All inspections are performed before noon.

To cancel an inspection, to make arrangements for a "special" inspection or to make changes to a previously called-in inspection, please contact the building inspector or call 682-831-4684.

To ensure that inspections are performed in a timely manner, and to avoid re-inspect fees, make sure that the inspection is ready at time of request.
