The Building Inspections Department conducts inspections on commercial and residential construction.

Scheduling an Inspection
To schedule an inspection, call the automated inspection line at 682-831-4697. Inspections will be performed within 48 hours from the time called in. In the event of inclimate weather, you will be responsible to recall your inspection; inspections do not automatically roll over.

The following information is required to complete your inspection request
- permit #
- address
- inspection type.

Failure to leave the required information will result in no inspection being performed.

No specific time frames will be guaranteed.

To cancel an inspection, to make arrangements for a "special" inspection or to make changes to a previously called-in inspection, please contact Chris King, building inspector or call 682-831-4684.

To ensure that inspections are performed in a timely manner, and to avoid re-inspect fees, make sure that the inspection is ready at time of request.
